Outwood Academy Adwick students achieve fantastic results again!
English and maths remain consistently strong with 71.7% of our students achieving a new grade 4 or above in English and 70.1% in maths. 64.2% of our students achieved a 4+ in both English and maths, an increase from last year even in the light of tougher examination requirements.
Julie Slater, Chief Executive Principal, Secondary said, “today is the culmination of years of hard work for our students. We are delighted with the results our students have achieved again this year which is testament to the incredible efforts and dedication of our students, their families, staff, governors and trust board at Outwood Academy Adwick. I would like to particularly praise the work of the Principal Lisa Allott for her exceptional leadership in helping our students to gain these life changing results”.
Special congratulations go to Gabriel Woodhouse, Chloe Stewart and Jessica Groom who all achieved the new grade 9 in either English or maths, the highest grade achievable, higher than the old grade A*.
We are incredibly proud of our students and wish them every success for their futures.
