Student Voice elections

On Tuesday 18th December, Outwood Academy Adwick took to the polls, to elect a new Student Voice lead.

All candidates delivered assemblies all last week to outline their manifestos and campaign for votes. Students and staff across the Academy voted in the election, using polling booths and ballot boxes from Doncaster Council. All year groups voted and conduct was exemplary throughout.

Following the final vote count, Jack Burtoft (Year 10) secured the most votes, so was elected our new Student Voice lead. TommyJoe Shaw (Year 10) and Saffron Laszkowicz (Year 10) are our new Student Voice Vice leads, with Georgina Hull, Courtney Goodwin, Tia Hanson and Amy Fletcher (all Year 9) as the Student Voice Assistant leads. Well done to all!
