Admission to Sixth Form at Outwood Post 16 Doncaster follows the Outwood Grange Family of Schools Admissions policy which can be accessed using the following link:
In summary, the policy has one entry requirement: ‘A willingness to learn’. All external applicants will be subject to appropriate references from their respective schools. Students transferring into Post 16 who have studied at Outwood Academy Adwick or Outwood Academy Danum in Y11 must satisfy this entry requirement in their Praising Stars © report at the time of interview.
A ‘willingness to learn’ will be determined from an applicant’s Praising Stars © report as being all E3s or better and at least 90% attendance with no unauthorised absence. A conditional offer is made with the understanding that this level of effort/attendance is maintained or with specific action points for improvement being issued to students who may not have met this standard, but have shown themselves to be willing to improve.
The capacity for Sixth Form students at Outwood Post 16 Doncaster is 600. Where the number of eligible applicants exceeds the places available then admission will be determined in accordance with the priority of admission criteria which is outlined in detail in the Admissions Policy accessed via the link above.
