Emma Addy - Associate Assistant Principal

I first joined Outwood Academy Adwick in September 2010, where I completed my PGCE placement. I returned as a Newly Qualified Teacher in September 2011, teaching Business Studies and Information Communication Technology. I went on to teach across Humanities also, including Geography and History, as well as redesigning the RE/Life curriculum into the current format. I have worked across Deep Support, Deep Learning and Deep Experience to enhance the experiences of our students. My areas of responsibility have included student rewards, pledges, enrichment and SMSC and British Values. In 2018, I was appointed as Associate Assistant Principal across Deep Experience and Deep Support, leading on HEPPSY, SMSC, British Values and Student Voice, as well as supporting the wider Senior Leadership Team across the Academy.
