After completing my degree in French and German at University College London, I began my teaching career in 2012 at Sheffield Springs Academy as an unqualified MFL teacher through the Teach First programme. Whilst working at Sheffield Springs Academy, I gained my PGCE through Sheffield Hallam University in 2013 and also completed a Master’s Degree through the University of Manchester between 2013-2015 in Leadership in Education.
In September 2015, I was appointed Head of Department for MFL at Outwood Academy Adwick and have been teaching French, German and Spanish during this time. Last year, I held a DEEPS role as Aspiring Leader responsible for the provision of Most Able students. In June 2018, I was appointed as Associate Assistant Principal within DEEP Experience, focusing on BTEC and EBACC.
