Neil Copsey - Assistant Principal Deep Support/Experience

After studying Medical Microbiology at the University of Leeds I worked in the private sector for four years. I then decided to complete a Secondary Science PGCE as I wanted to be part of a profession that made a positive difference on society. Throughout my career I have always believed that every student, no matter what their background should always achieve their full potential and that teachers have a duty to maximise the life chances of children. After working in inner city schools in Bradford and Leeds, I was delighted to gain the role of Assistant Principal in June 2017 and look forward to working with the students at the Academy in my Deep Support and Deep Experience roles.
